Timo Werner refuses to rule out PL move
Timo Werner has refused to rule out a summer transfer window move away from RB Leipzig, with continued links to Liverpool.
Werner is one of European's hottest properties and Premier League sides such as Liverpool, Manchester United and Chelsea have all had links with the German striker.
The 23-year-old has netted 20 times in Bundesliga this season, in the same amount of appearances, and he is not at all surprised by the interest.
"When you score 20 goals as a 23-year-old in a season then, of course, there is interest. That's clear," the RB Leipzig striker said to German publication Kicker.
"We are going into many important games. That's what I want to focus on now. I can still contemplate my future later."
Werner has an incredible record at his current side, Leipzig, scoring 91 goals in 126 appearances for the Bundesliga side over the course of four seasons.
The German forward has admitted he sees himself playing abroad one day, but doesn't have a specific club in mind.
"What do you say if a club comes knocking in the next two weeks, a club which is one of the favourites to win the Champions League and makes an incredible offer? Most likely every player would think about it," Werner said.
"I can generally imagine playing abroad one day, although I don't have any specific club where I want to be.
"I am open for everything. I was over in America for a holiday recently and English football was on all of the time. That's an exclamation mark for the Premier League. But there are also big, famous clubs and it would certainly be fun playing there."
