Liverpool handed boost in Timo Werner pursuit
Liverpool have been handed a major boost in their pursuit of Timo Werner after discovering the striker's release clause is £21million cheaper than initially thought, according to reports in Germany.
Werner has been linked with a move to Anfield in the summer and the striker has even talked up the Champions League winners and their manager Jürgen Klopp in recent weeks.
Recent reports have suggested that Werner would be available for £51m, which must be paid before April before his price goes up - but according to German news outlet Sport1, Werner is actually available for £30m.
