Former Liverpool defender explains how Thiago could join for free
Former Liverpool defender Steve Nicol believes Bayern Munich midfielder Thiago Alcantara will eventually join Liverpool.
The 29-year-old Spaniard has been linked with a move to Anfield all summer but the ECHO understands that Liverpool are not actively pursuing the Spanish international.
Yet Anfield legend Nicol - now a pundit in the United States - says a 'compromise' could be reached to land Thiago this summer or Bayern risk losing him on a free transfer with one year remaining on his contract.
