'I can't wait to get started at this massive club'
The ambition and drive of the new-look Liverpool FC Women squad under Matt Beard played a major role in Rianna Dean signing for the club.
On Friday, the forward became Beard's sixth recruit of the summer so far, further adding to the competition for places that the manager craves.
After sealing the switch, the 22-year-old can't wait to get started and help the Reds return to where she feels the club belongs: the Women's Super League.

On signing for Liverpool FC Women…
I'm buzzing! The club is massive, I'm really looking forward to it and I'm happy to be here.
On her qualities and what she hopes to bring to the team…
My job is to score goals so hopefully that's what everyone will see from me. I like to work hard and do my best for the team. I'm passionate about Liverpool and passionate about doing the best I can, so hopefully work hard, score goals and hopefully a lot of wins for the team.
On joining an exciting, new-look squad under Beard…
That's one of the things that drew me to come here because just the chance to play alongside some of the players here is something I'm really looking forward to. When you've got healthy competition for places like we have here it only pushes individuals and the team to be better and do what we do best. Hopefully I can get a good relationship with them [on and off the field] and I can't wait to get going now and it can be a really good season for us all.
On the importance of settling in quickly to the new surroundings…
Pre-season is always tough but I'm raring to go now and I'm really looking forward to it. All the girls are lovely and they have really helped me settle in already. I know Taylor [Hinds] and Furney [Rachel Furness]. I spoke to them before I signed here and they played a massive part. They love the club and like where the club is going, so it's really good.
On the ambition of the club to get back to the WSL…
Liverpool should be up there pushing with the likes of Arsenal and Chelsea. I've come here with the aim of getting promotion, helping this team and push on.
