How do I get to Prenton Park?

Free car parking is available at the Prenton Park car park. The postcode is CH42 9PY. Supporters who are not able to park at Prenton Park should conform with any local parking restrictions in place in the areas around the stadium.

Prenton Park is also easily accessible by public transport. It is a 15-minute walk from Rock Ferry station on the Merseyrail network and a 20-minute walk from Birkenhead Central. It is also well served by the bus network. Details can be obtained here

Free coach trial

Supporters buying their tickets also have the opportunity to express interest in a free ‘park and ride’ LFC bus, which will depart from the Sir Kenny Dalglish car park at Anfield at 12pm on Sunday and return after the match.

Only supporters registering their interest can use the bus and will be able to park their cars at the Sir Kenny Dalglish Stand. You can register your interest, if you have not already, up until 12pm on Friday at womens.enquires@liverpoolfc.com. The bus is wheelchair accessible and is a trial by the club which may be repeated if there is sufficient interest.

Is there any entertainment before the match?

Yes, kids activities, including a face painter, will be in place in the small car park alongside the stadium. Entrance is either by the statue at front of the stadium or down past the club shop. Members of The Anfield Wrap will be building up the atmosphere in the Mersey Clipper opposite the ground.

COVID – do I still need to wear a mask?

To protect yourself and others, we recommend that supporters aged 11 and over should wear a face covering while moving around the stadium and in enclosed spaces.

As this is a recommendation, we ask you to respect other supporters if they choose to wear or not wear a mask.

Do I need to be vaccinated or take a test?

In line with Wirral Borough Council, we are strongly recommending supporters who are attending Prenton Park to take a lateral flow test 24 to 36 hours prior to kick-off and/or to get vaccinated. Details of how to get tested are here.
