Gallery: Academy youngsters enjoy special Anfield stadium tour
Liverpool’s U12 and U13 Academy youngsters enjoyed a special treat recently when they were taken on a private Anfield stadium tour.
Coaches Michael Yates and Tom Culshaw escorted 29 players around the famous stadium, where the youngsters aspire to one day achieve the dream of playing in front of the Kop in a red shirt.
Yates told Liverpoolfc.com: “It was a fantastic day out for the boys and this forms part of their football education as young Liverpool players.
“It is important that they understand the history, culture, standards and values of our football club.
“It was also a great opportunity for the boys to see our new fantastic Main Stand for the first time."
