Take part in the LFC Foundation free walks
The Liverpool FC Foundation is launching free monthly walks to encourage men to adopt a healthy lifestyle.
The joint initiative with Breckfield North Everton Neighbourhood Council (BNENC) forms part of the LFC Foundation’s men's health programme and is designed to encourage men to become physically active.
Taking part in gentle walks, the trips will see males aged 18 and over taking part in activities such as golf, visiting Jodrell Bank, Ruthin Castle and the Liverpool Cathedral.
Last year the initiative saw over 200 men taking part with all walks departing from Breckfield Centre.
The first walk of the year will take place on Wednesday February 10 and will see participants visit the beautiful Delamere Forest in Cheshire.

“Taking control of their own health through group physical activity in order to create peer support and motivation to make ensure these changes are sustainable.”
Head of the Liverpool FC Foundation, Andrea Cooper, added: “We are really proud of our men’s health programme and we hope to encourage men around the city to adopt and maintain a healthy lifestyle.
“Last year we had a fantastic turnout and we look forward to welcoming participants at the first walk."
