'How COVID-19 mass testing scheme will help the city of Liverpool'
Liverpool FC doctor, Dr Jim Moxon, has detailed why the club is supporting the city's new mass COVID-19 testing scheme, which begins today.
From midday, six testing venues across Liverpool will open their doors to begin the rollout of the programme.
In addition, in the coming days Anfield will also operate as a screening venue. Full details were published on Liverpoolfc.com on Thursday evening.
Testing slots can also be booked via www.gov.uk/testliverpool or using the NHS COVID-19 app. People are advised there may be queues at these locations.
As the ground-breaking scheme gets under way, Dr Moxon outlined how it will be hugely beneficial for the city of Liverpool in the fight against coronavirus.
