LFC Foundation's new venture partnering with community venues across Merseyside, announced in January, has continued throughout 2021 so far.

These new Community Hubs aim to bring people together and improve the general health and wellbeing of local communities.

During the current national lockdown, most in-person sessions have had to be paused in line with government guidelines, but the Reds’ official charity has still been able to work closely with the Community Hubs to provide essential food packages to local communities.

From breakfast hampers throughout half-term to afternoon tea packages for the centres’ wider communities, LFC Foundation has been working in partnership with Red Neighbours and the club to produce and distribute these essential food packages.

All the hard work from the teams would not have been made possible without the help of funding from The Steve Morgan Foundation and the Department for Culture, Media and Sport.

Once government restrictions begin to ease, LFC Foundation is excited to start delivering face-to-face, easy-to-access programmes, such as sport activities, social action, health and wellbeing, employability and volunteering opportunities.
