Brendan Rodgers has made five changes to his Liverpool starting XI for this afternoon's FA Cup fourth round clash with Bolton Wanderers.

Glen Johnson makes his first appearance since the 3-0 defeat by Manchester United in December, having recovered from a groin injury sustained during the clash at Old Trafford.

Joe Allen picked up a knee problem in the same game - and the Welshman has not featured for the Reds since then; however, he too returns to action against Neil Lennon's side at Anfield.

Jose Enrique and Javier Manquillo will also face the Championship outfit, while further forward, Adam Lallana is restored to the side from the start as Steven Gerrard comes out of the matchday squad completely.

Liverpool's XI: Mignolet, Johnson, Enrique, Can, Sakho, Manquillo, Coutinho, Henderson, Lallana, Allen, Sterling.

Substitutes: Ward, Lovren, Lambert, Lucas, Borini, Rossiter, Markovic.
