Watch two special extracts from Steven Gerrard's recent interview with former Liverpool teammate and Sky Sports pundit Jamie Redknapp now.

During their chat, the captain outlines the team's aims for the remainder of the season following the return of Daniel Sturridge.

The No.8 has some special words of praise too for Jordon Ibe, in whom he sees elements of Sturridge and Raheem Sterling.

"He's got everything, says Gerrard. "He's a bit of Sturridge, a bit of Sterling all rolled into one.

"There's the power and physique of Daniel together with the pace of Raheem, and if he keeps learning, listening to the right people and evolving his game then he'll be something special."

The skipper also speaks of his appreciation for Brendan Rodgers and reveals how the boss has him 'skipping into training' such is the enthusiasm he brings to the Melwood pitches.
