Liverpool legend Steven Gerrard celebrates his 35th birthday today – and to mark the occasion, we have produced a special free video reflecting on the No.8's outstanding Anfield legacy.
After 17 years in the first team, 710 appearances and 186 goals, the midfielder has called time on his Reds career ahead of the start of a new chapter with LA Galaxy.
During his time as Liverpool's talisman, he hauled aloft the Champions League, two FA Cups, three League Cups and one UEFA Cup during his Anfield story, and was voted the winner of our '100 Players Who Shook the Kop' poll in 2013.
Gerrard firmly established himself of the most respected figures in the history of world football, regularly drawing plaudits from his teammates, peers and icons of the game for his ability and leadership.
