Philippe Coutinho admits he will relish the opportunity of taking part in the Copa America this summer – and he's confident Brazil can go all the way in the tournament.

The Liverpool playmaker has been included in his country's squad for the finals, which will be held in Chile from June 11 until July 4.

Coutinho and his teammates have been drawn alongside Peru, Colombia and Venezuela in Group C and he cannot wait for the action to get underway.

He told the official Liverpool FC magazine: "It is a great opportunity for me and I am very happy to be called up for the Copa.

"Like every child, I dreamt of being selected for the national team and I hope that I will be able to make a contribution to the team's success in the tournament.

"The other nations are very good as well and the Copa is always a very difficult competition to play in, but Brazil have very good players too and I am confident that we are going to do well."
