Liverpool have played 350 European games, winning 194, drawing 78 and losing 78. Rubin are the Reds’ 121st different opponent in continental competition.

The Reds have suffered just one defeat in their last 23 home matches in the UEFA Cup and Europa League, against Udinese in 2012.

They drew their opening two games in this group, but have never had stalemates in their first three fixtures of a European campaign or any group stage.

Kazan have scored seven goals in their six European games this season, conceding six. They currently lie bottom of the group having lost 2-1 at Sion in the opening fixture and drawn 0-0 at home to Bordeaux.
