No.2: Alan Kennedy
The man who scored winning goals in two European Cup finals for Liverpool, Alan Kennedy, has this message for the class of 2016.
“I’ll be there in Basel cheering the lads on. I’m really looking forward to the big game and I’m sure Jürgen and the lads will not disappoint.
“Liverpool have pulled out some truly magnificent performances in the Europa League this season and I think they will do it again on Wednesday night.
“The key for me is - this Liverpool team has already been in a final this season, in the Capital One Cup, so they know what it’s like to be there. Liverpool deserve to be in this final and all they have got to do is concentrate, listen to the manager and get out there and do it.
“I’ve been in that position well over 30 years ago with Liverpool in European finals and it is very special. This could lead to other great things for the team under Jürgen.”
