7th: Phil Neal (8, twice)
Edging ahead of Dirk Kuyt is Phil Neal, who racked up two different runs of eight successful penalties during his outstanding spell with Liverpool.
Incredibly, those streaks came back-to-back, with only a single miss in between preventing the defender from being in contention at the very top of this list.
The first run of eight began against Stoke City in April 1976 and was brought to a stop by the aforementioned failure – at home to Newcastle United in March 1977.
Neal’s second streak kicked off four weeks later and included strikes from 12 yards in both the semi-final and final of the European Cup as the Reds conquered the continent.
