Georginio Wijnaldum played the full match as the Netherlands claimed a 3-1 victory in their World Cup qualifier against Luxembourg on Sunday.

The Liverpool midfielder helped his country to a result which leaves them in second place in Group A after four games – three points behind leaders France.

Elsewhere in qualifying, it was a night to forget for Reds centre-back Ragnar Klavan as Estonia suffered an 8-1 defeat by Belgium in Brussels.

The defender conceded an own goal in the Group H contest as the hosts – who had Simon Mignolet and Divock Origi on the bench – maintained a 100 per cent record.
