Ragnar Klavan and Simon Mignolet discuss Liverpool's 4-1 victory over Stoke City, we take a look back on a memorable year and another special guest visits Melwood.

All this, and more, features in today's round-up of the latest LFC news.

Our top three stories...

Klavan once again impressed at the heart of Liverpool's defence during their comprehensive win over the Potters at Anfield last night.

And the Estonia captain told us after the game that the Reds showed their maturity in responding strongly to the setback of falling behind early on.

Mignolet, meanwhile, believes Liverpool will come up against a wide range of tactical plans this season as opposing teams attempt to contain Jürgen Klopp's side.

"Stoke went direct with [Peter] Crouch up front and then off him Jonathan Walters, and in the first 20 minutes we struggled with that," the goalkeeper told Liverpoolfc.com.

"But after that we dealt with it, got through the game, scored our goals, played our football, and you could see how good we are."

Last week, Olympic gold medalist, 400m world-record holder and Liverpool fan Wayde van Niekerk came to Melwood.

Today, it was the turn of USA Women's captain - and huge Red - Carli Lloyd to visit the club's West Derby base.

Lloyd, who scored a hat-trick in her country's World Cup final win over Japan last year, sat down for a chat with Liverpool skipper Jordan Henderson - an interview that is coming soon on LFCTV and LFCTV GO.
