Wijnaldum's wonder header wins December Goal of the Month
Georginio Wijnaldum's stunning header against Manchester City has been voted as Liverpool's Goal of the Month for December by fans.
After climbing high to reach Adam Lallana's perfect cross from the left wing, the Netherlands international powered the ball beyond Claudio Bravo to ensure a perfect end to 2016 for the Reds.
Wijnaldum's header picked up 38 per cent of the total votes cast, to finish ahead of Divock Origi's brilliant finish away at Bournemouth, which received 22 per cent.
In third spot was Emre Can's superb curler in the same game on the south coast, while Sadio Mane's dramatic Merseyside derby winner against Everton came fourth in our poll.
Taking fifth place was Origi's fine finish during the 3-0 away win at Middlesbrough.
