Daniel Sturridge showed flashes of brilliance at both Manchester City and Chelsea before being snapped up by Brendan Rodgers' Liverpool in January 2013.

The striker made an immediate impact - scoring on his league debut for the Reds against Manchester United - and went on to become the fastest Liverpool player to score 10 Premier League goals, doing so in just 13 games (a record equalled by Mohamed Salah this season).

He formed a deadly partnership with Luis Suarez, which almost fired the Reds to the Premier League title in 2013-14, when he netted 24 times in all competitions.

Sturridge scored the 100th goal of his club career during Liverpool's 3-0 win against Huddersfield Town earlier this term and has 63 in 133 appearances for the club in total.
