Liverpool have made an offer to sign Southampton forward Shane Long, according to reports.

The Reds have already signed Marko Grujic and Steven Caulker this month but Jurgen Klopp isn’t stopping there.

According to the Daily Mirror, talks have been underway with Southampton over Long and a £8million offer has gone in.

The Saints apparently turned it down, despite signing Charlie Austin from QPR as a replacement, but Liverpool are likely to be back again.

Long has scored eight goals in 19 games this term.
