Liverpool monitoring Mainz goalkeeper Karius
Liverpool are considering a move for Mainz goalkeeper Loris Karius.
Jurgen Klopp is looking to increase competition for Simon Mignolet and Danny Ward who is highly regarded by Liverpool's coaching staff.
Karius, 22, had a spell at Manchester City as a teenager and is understood to have an £8million release clause.
Karius is a German youth international having represented his country at each level from U16 to U21 level.
