Jurgen Klopp is weighing up a £25.8m move for Mahmoud Dahoud, according to reports.

The German boss is keen to add further reinforcements to his attacking options and the Borussia Monchengladbach star is understood to be at the top of his wishlist.

And SportBild claim the Reds are willing to offer €30m euros (£25.8m) for his services.

The report claims Liverpool face competition from Juventus however in the race to his signature.

Dahoud is under contract until 2018 but they are keen to tie him down to a longer deal.

But Liverpool face a tough task in prising the Germany U21 international away from Gladbach with his agent suggesting Dahoud will not leave during the transfer window.

Reza Fazeli told The Guardian: "It is certain Mahmoud will stay with Gladbach for now.

“There has been a lot of interest in him, not just from Liverpool. But we have an agreement with Gladbach and everything has been postponed for next season.

“We will have to wait and see what happens in the future but it will be up to the club to accept a fee they think is acceptable.”

Dahoud scored five goals and registered nine assists for Gladbach last season.
