Liverpool are keen to bring Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Jese Rodriguez to Anfield, according to reports.

Jurgen Klopp wants to strengthen his options in the middle of the park this month, particularly with the loss of Sadio Mane to the Africa Cup of Nations.
And according to reports in France, Liverpool are one of several clubs keen to snap up the Spaniard.

Jese has fallen out of favour at the Parc des Princes and his agent confirmed yesterday that he is hoping to leave the club.

Armando Ufarte said: "Nothing has been decided and there is still time in this transfer window. What is certain is that Jese no longer sees his future at PSG.

"He is waiting to pick the best from the offers that he has received. Until then, he is working hard in training every day to be in good condition once he gets back into action.

"He is ambitious and wants to continue to develop. I speak regularly with him and he knows we will work hard to find the best alternatives for him."

Jese is said to be open to a loan move to Las Palmas, while Roma have also reportedly showed interest in the 23-year-old.

And it seems Klopp will have to convince the midfielder into choosing Liverpool over any other move across Europe if he wants to secure his signature.

Jese, who has scored twice in 14 appearances for PSG this season, is under contract with the French champions until 2021, having only signed from Real Madrid in the summer.
