Reds not put off by Sessegnon's contract situation
Liverpool boss Jürgen Klopp is still eyeing a move for highly rated Fulham’s left-back Ryan Sessegnon.
The Championship side have confirmed that Sessegnon will pen his first professional contract when he celebrates his 17th birthday next month.
But that won’t put off Klopp, who has had Sessegnon in his sights all season along with Arsenal, Manchester City and Tottenham Hotspur.
Sessegnon, 16, is currently only on a scholarship contract but has been a key player for Championship promotion chasers Fulham this season.
Fulham will demand around £15 million before allowing Sessegnon who is seen as one of the brightest talents in the country leave the club.
They will even try and do a deal which could see him loaned back to them for the whole of next season before he joins up after his 18th birthday next May.
Liverpool have also been linked with Hull's full-back Andy Roberston, and are reportedly prepared to pay £8m for the 23-year-old.
