Club president reveals strategy for Liverpool target
Lyon will go a ‘bit mad’ to keep hold of Alexandre Lacazette.
Those are the thoughts of the club’s president Jean-Michel Aulas.
Arsenal are long-standing admirers of the 25-year-old.
After having a £29.3million offer rejected last term, the Gunners are set to resurrect their interest.
Liverpool are supposedly plotting a move, as Jurgen Klopp seeks to revamp his squad.
But Aulas is adamant Lyon will do everything in his power to keep hold of Lacazette.
“We're ready to go a bit mad and do things we've never done to keep Alexandre [Lacazette],” Aulas told French broadcasters Telefoot.
"The club is good, the club has invested in all the structures that will allow it to get back among Europe's top 10 clubs.
"Of course we'll have to listen to Alexandre, because he's a man and a great player."
Lacazette is under contract with Lyon until 2020.
