Roma holding out for Mo money
Roma have rejected Liverpool's £29million offer for winger Mohamed Salah, according to reports in Italy.
The Serie A club don't believe the £29.6million bid truly reflects the value of the ex-Chelsea and FC Basel star, according to TeleRadioStereo.
Salah was instrumental in Roma's second-place finish this season, scoring 19 goals and providing 12 assists for Luciano Spalletti's men.
Liverpool have been in talks with Salah's agent and the player is understood to be keen on the move, which he could have made three years ago but for Chelsea's late intervention.
Reports in Sweden claim Jurgen Klopp could make a move for RB Leipzig assist-machine Emil Forsberg if the Reds can't agree terms with Roma for Salah.
Hasan Cetinkaya, who represents the 25-year-old attacking midfielder, says Forsberg is ready to "test himself at one of the big clubs."
The Swede scored eight goals and was added 19 assists this season as the Bundesliga newcomers clinched a superb second-place finish and a Champions League spot.
And it has also seen the ex-Malmo star linked with Bayern Munich, Liverpool, Arsenal and AC Milan, among others.
Cetinkaya, told Swedish newspaper Aftonbladet that there is concrete interest in Forsberg, but would not disclose from where.
"I will never comment on which clubs are involved. But there are big clubs who are very interested in Emil," Cetinkaya was quoted as saying.
"Obviously RB know that if they want to keep Emil they have to make sure he's always happy. He has repaid the club 10 times over. It might be time to test himself at one of the big clubs."
