Mohamed Salah to jet into England today to seal Liverpool switch
Mohamed Salah is finally set to jet into England to complete his on-off move to Liverpool.
The Roma winger is due to fly into Heathrow later today, after his Italian club gave the green light for the deal to be struck.
Reports in Italy suggest Roma's sporting director Monchi is himself flying to London this afternoon to meet with his club's president and owner James Pallotta as they finalise the terms of the deal.
Liverpool will pay around £32m for the Egypt international, with another £5m in add-ons, after a drawn out negotiation over the winger.
He has already agreed terms with the Reds, and will now fly in to undergo a medical, before signing what is likely to be a five year contract at £90,000 a week.
Salah was one Jurgen Klopp's main targets this summer, with the Anfield boss determined to sign a pacy wide player who can add goals to his front line.
The flying winger scored 19 for Roma last season after his permanent move from Chelsea, and also provided 12 assists in an impressive season for the Italians.
