Liverpool make Marco Asensio move
Arsenal and Liverpool have contacted Real Madrid about signing Marco Asensio, according to reports in Spain.
Asensio enjoyed an impressive breakthrough campaign at Real Madrid last season.
The Spain international helped Real to a La Liga and Champions League double with 10 goals and four assists in his 38 appearances.
And despite being used sparingly last season by Real head coach Zinedeine Zidane, Spanish outlet Diario Gol claim Arsenal and Liverpool are interested in signing the 21-year-old.
Serie A giants Juventus and Inter Milan are also said to be keeping tabs on Asensio's availability this summer.
Both Arsenal and Liverpool have spent big this summer, having smashed their respective transfer records already.
Arsenal spent £52million to sign striker Alexandre Lacazette from Lyon, while Liverpool bought £39m Mohamed Salah from Roma.
But Diario Gol add that Asensio is keen to prove himself at Real Madrid and wants a new contract to extend his stay at the Bernabeu.
