Ruben Neves insists he wants to stay at Wolves despite being linked with a move to Liverpool.

The midfielder has been an instrumental figure in Nuno Espirito Santo’s side, who have been promoted to the Premier League after comfortably winning the Championship.

Reports claim that the 21-year-old has already held talks with Jurgen Klopp’s side and could potentially make the move to Anfield at the end of the season.

But Neves, who was signed from Porto in a £15.8 million deal last summer, wants to remain with Wolves for another season.

"I came here to help the club and the club has helped me as well," Neves told Sky Sports.

"I think we achieved all our goals, as an individual and as a team.

"It is normal as big clubs see our work, not just me but all the boys, but I am really happy here.

"I want to stay here and I want to enjoy the Premier League with this fantastic club."
