A heart-warming short film tells the inspiring story of two young football fans whose powerful bond was forged by the game but now extends far beyond it.

When Liverpool-mad Myles Hensley was diagnosed with leukaemia last year, his West Bromwich Albion-supporting friend Archie Palmer stopped at nothing to help.

Archie’s social media campaign to raise awareness led to a special visit in hospital by Reds legend Dietmar Hamann – which then prompted a wave of well wishes for young Kopite Myles.

Liverpool captain Jordan Henderson recorded a message of support and when the pals’ respective clubs met on the final day of last season, they were invited to the Hawthorns to watch the 1-1 draw as special guests of the Baggies.

Now Myles and Archie hope a newly-released film of their experience – which can be watched by clicking play above – will help raise crucial funds for cancer charity CLIC Sargent.
