Liverpool eye Jese Rodriguez swoop
Liverpool are among the teams "ready to pay" for Paris Saint-Germain striker Jese Rodriguez.
The former Real Madrid front man has struggled since his €25million move to the Parc de Princes in the summer.
He has only made nine appearances for Unai Emery's PSG side in that time and the club chairman has since hinted that a swift exit could be on the cards.
Las Palmas president Miguel Angel Ramirez says that he would love to bring Jese back to his hometown club in Spain.
But he says that the La Liga minnows would be priced out of the market, with Liverpool, AC Milan and Roma all reportedly circling.
"Jese Rodriguez is a great footballer," Ramirez told Las Provincia.
"He wants to come to Las Palmas, but he is owned by PSG and earns a salary that is of his level - and that is very high.
"Liverpool, Milan and Roma want Jese and are ready to pay what he earns. We cannot afford that salary.
"With respect to other clubs, we are at a disadvantage and hence we have to wait. But we don't want to create false expectations."
Jese featured 38 times for Real Madrid during the 2015-16 season but was allowed to leave by Zinedine Zidane at the end of the campaign.
He has just one league goal for PSG to his name this season.
