Curtis Jones is a versatile and talented midfield player with an eye for a pass and ability to score goals.

The Scouser has been with the club since U9 level and progressed all the way through to the senior squad.

Living the dream, he earned a Premier League winner’s medal for playing his part in the Reds’ 2019-20 triumph and was handed the No.17 shirt ahead of 2020-21.

Jones was given his first chance to impress for Jürgen Klopp's side during the summer of 2018 as he featured in the majority of the Reds' pre-season friendlies.

He realised a lifelong ambition when he made his first-team debut on January 7, 2019, when he was handed a start in the FA Cup third-round tie away at Wolverhampton Wanderers.

A first senior goal for the club arrived in stunning circumstances in January 2020 when the forward curled in the only goal of the game to beat Everton 1-0 at Anfield in an FA Cup third-round tie.

The following round saw him make history when he became the club's youngest ever captain at the age of 19 years and five days in the replay victory over Shrewsbury Town at Anfield.

In July 2020, Jones' progress was rewarded as he signed a new long-term contract with the club. A day later saw him net his first Premier League goal when he completed the scoring in a 2-0 win against Aston Villa at Anfield.

He was then named Premier League 2 Player of the Season as a result of his fine displays for the U23s throughout 2019-20.

On December 1, 2020, Jones claimed his first Champions League strike when he scored the winner in a 1-0 victory over AFC Ajax at Anfield to move Liverpool into the knockout phase of the competition.
